KUALA LUMPUR 3 Feb. – Akademi Fantasia musim kelapan (AF8) yang akan disiarkan bulan depan tidak lagi menampilkan AC Mizal sebagai pengacara program realiti televisyen (TV) itu.
Keputusan itu dibuat oleh AC Mizal sendiri berikutan komitmennya terhadap pengurusan sebuah syarikat konsortium yang diasaskan sejak tiga bulan lalu.
Syarikat produksi Astro Entertainment Sdn. Bhd. (AESB) yang menaungi personaliti itu mengumumkan kata sepakat dicapai antara kedua-dua pihak baru-baru ini.
Menurut Pengarah Eksekutif AESB, Zainir Aminullah, AC Mizal yang merupakan pengacara AF untuk musim keenam dan ketujuh mempunyai komitmen lebih besar bersama syarikatnya yang mempunyai nilai pelaburan mencecah RM200 juta.
“Kenyataan ini kami lakukan bersama demi masa depan AC sebagai hos AF. Secara rasmi, AC bukan lagi hos AF,” kata Zainir pada sidang akhbar di sini hari ini.
Musim baru program berkenaan tidak akan terlepas daripada memperkenalkan perubahan baru termasuk pengacaranya.
